Trouble uploading

I see there was a little bit of a heavy load on thumbnail servers ealier this month, and wondered if it's happening again? I've tried to upload to a gallery about 4 times since last night - one a complete load of 53 files, twice - a load of ten files, and now an upload of only 3 files.

These are 11x14, 300DPI jpgs.

I'd uploaded everything to my gallery a few days ago w/no problem (until I realized *I* had made a typo on the page size... doh!). I deleted the gallery, recreated it, and tried to load new images... This is when it all went south.

Any hints?
