publisher or photoshop
Re: publisher or photoshop

I use a lot of layering, color and textures in my layouts, so it is vital. If you are looking for something simpler, you might want to use publisher. It is a lot more user friendly when it comes to layouts.

Posted:13 Jun 2007 (18:26 UTC)Given that I can't work with photoshop, I made my book with Publisher. It's 130 pages with +300 photos and lots of text and it worked perfectly. Do keep in mind that if you work with Publisher, you have to make your file 3 times as big as the size of the book you've chosen. so when you work on an 8,5 to 8,5 book, add a few inches for cutting first and then multiplie by 3. save each publisher page as a jpg and upload each jpg as a full page. (I used font Verdana 26 and that sure is big enough to read).
Hope this helps :-)
