Wow, I'm sorry to say that I'm not familiar with the 2 vs. 256. We typically recommend files are saved out at 90% so I think in this case you may want to go with 12

Creating PDF with Corel Draw

Posted:06 Apr 2007 (08:22 UTC)
Hello,
I've created my layout with Corel Draw and using the Publish to PDF to create the PDF files needed. Locally so far it seems to be fine. There is an option for quality factor for JPEG images embedded. I have tried highest (2) and somewhat less (12) and both look fine here. The poorest setting is 256. Can you suggest what value will provide optimal results such that the final book will look excellent but the the image size is not larger than needed? Also are there other things to know about using Corel to output the PDF. I have already chosen Acrobat 5 as the output version.
Thanks,
Chris :)
