The guidelines are more of a warning :)
As long as you follow the correct trim, you should be fine!

Crop Lines
Posted:12 Dec 2010 (21:16 UTC)Hi.
I am creating a 8.5 x 8.5 photo book and have a question about crop lines. My pages are digital scrapbook pages created at 12" and when I view the pages in the step 3 of the 'flip preview' it looks like the crop lines are about 1/2". When I've created books in the past I don't remember that being the case. I thought it was more like a 1/4". If it is truly the 1/2" that shows in the preview that makes a HUGE difference in my pages which were done to accommodate a 1/4" trim. So my question is how accurate are these yellow crop lines to the actual image and why so much trim?
Thanks.
