Cover wrap size?

Our imagewrap doesn't have inside "flaps" so keep the dimensions the same as normal :)

I'm currenty designing pages for an 8.5X8.5 book. If I want to purchase the soft bound book with the wrap cover feature, does my cover image need to be 8.5 tall X 17" wide?
