Millions of MB?

What's coming out of iPhoto and what's being done in Powerpoint?

It should print even at that large size, it'll just be a bit of a wait while you upload. But we're here to help.

OK, I'm just playing around in preparation of making my first book. I decided to try to the iPhoto to PowerPoint (mac) to PDF route. I sized the PPT slide to 5.25 x 7.25 for a 5x7 book. I drug a single photo over and sized it to bleed. I then saved it as a pdf — 300 dpi and high quality. The result is 11.3 Mb for for one page. Surely you don't want these kinds of sizes — what do I need to adjust?
