Using photo for background

In my last book I made 84 pages using one of my pictures as a background - the same background on every page. It was a story about surfing and the background picture was a photo I took of the ocean. I used CS3 and all JPG files - no PNG files. Russ

You can always make a template page out of the photo that you would like to use as a Background. You'd have to create the drop zones for the pics that you want on top of it, and the Background image would need to be a PNG. Where the images would go on the Background, you would need those places to be transparent, because the Book Designer places the images behind the templates.

Is there an option to use my own photo as background, then layer photos on top of that?
