One New Years a friend Kim, told me of having lost her furry buddy to a bad accident over the holidays. I made my mind up right then that I would never be left alone without a sweet buddy in my life. Within a couple of days I went to the Humane Society and hooked up with Marshall The Maniac. He was more than ready to bring his neurosis to someone's home. Barney wasn't too wild about the idea. He felt that his affection should be plenty. I got a lot of sour looks for quite some time. I'm don't think he ever got over it, but he would come to tolerate it.
