When Barney moved in,it was clear that a house would better and would enrich both our lives. A co-worker told me of a patient who had a hideaway house for rent. Barney and I rushed to take a peak. The house sits on a creek in a wooded area complete with a creek. Barney immediately ran down the spiral staircase and out the doggie door to investigate. He reappeared and jumped up on me as if to say; "This is the place!!" At Christmas we got a huge tree and entertained fifty people for a party. Barney wasn't fond of crowds, but he would attend if there was a chance he could score some food.
