One of two stone tigers guarding the entrance to Sam-Mil Sa, a Buddhist temple in Jinhae. I removed the uninteresting background and replaced it with an image of colored lights that I had taken earlier, modified using the 'circle splash' filter in CS5 from PixelBender.

What an effective presentation. I'm not usually a fan of manufactured backgrounds but it suits this perfectly.

Thanks, Rusty. Occasionally I do create backgrounds to replace those that don't add to the overall image. Glad you like this.
