Christell, thank you. I have found that by setting up some back drop, and mainly black really makes dandelions pop.

Kimi, I have taken hundreds (yes hundreds) of pictures of dandelions trying to get one of these. Noone was blowing, just happened to catch a small breeze. I will have to get back to you on the shutter speed, but for me that isn't the issue it is the shutter lag time that a point and shoot has. I am sorry to say, I have many willing subjects in my yard. (:cry:)
