As a note, for all of our books the first interior page prints on the right, regardless of whether or not it displays on the right or left in the preview. The first interior page will always print on the right.

How big is the gutter?
Posted:11 Dec 2010 (00:34 UTC)I'm making an 8.5x11 book that has a few pages where an image spreads across 2 pages. Right now I have .5" margin on each page (.5" on the right hand side of the image on the left hand page, and .5" margin on the left side of the image on the right hand page). I want the image to spread across and look unbroken. Is .5" a good margin for the spine gutter?
